Corlay & Co. Ltd.

Corlay and Company was formed in 1969, evolving from George Cormack and Son (Waterbarn) Limited, which in itself was founded in 1924. The latter was one of the first carpet underlay manufacturers in the North West of England and was based in the Rossendale Valley, then home to much of the UK's textile industry. In the sixties, George Cormack's moved to it's current location of Bank Hall Mill, Burnley from where Corlay has continued to produce it's quality traditional underfelt and foam underlay products, catering for all floorcovering needs.

Corlay manufactures it's products to various British standards in terms of flame retardancy, static loading and dynamic loading. In addition, our underfelt is produced to meet the stringent German D1 check when tested with a suitable carpet.
